As part of Lightspeed’s growth equity team, Lina partners with high-growth companies where additional capital and strategic support can meaningfully accelerate scale. 

Before Lightspeed, Lina was part of the founding team at Tidal Partners, an M&A advisory firm spun out from Centerview Partners, where she advised leading technology companies on strategic transactions. Her experience working across dozens of companies gave her exposure to how businesses navigate pivotal moments. She moved into growth investing to apply those insights over the long term, partnering with founders as they build.

Her investment philosophy is grounded in long-term relationships, transparency, and follow-through. “Reputation is built in the small moments”, she says. Lina focuses on going beneath the surface to understand business models, market dynamics, and operational levers. That rigor helps her build conviction during underwriting and be a hands-on partner to founders post-investment.

This perspective was shaped early. Growing up, Lina watched her father practice medicine with complete mastery of his craft. Seeing that level of excellence up close instilled in her a belief that meaningful work requires both discipline and purpose. That belief shapes how she partners with founders: pursuing a deep understanding of their business while bringing the same care and commitment her father brought to his patients.

Outside the office, Lina draws inspiration from art in all its forms—cinema, fashion, and visual art. “Art sharpens your judgment,” she says. “It trains your eye for what resonates, what endures.” 

For her, investing is a parallel craft. She believes the best investors, like great curators, develop taste for authenticity, quality, and impact.
